RULES & SCHEDULE

Every team must commit to play every game at each of the four sessions. Failure to complete games could result in sanctions.

Rosters will be locked at the conclusion of session #2 and no player additions can be made after that unless approved.

Each team must be prepared produce birth certificates, and proof grade or passport for each player at check-in at session #1.

The TYBL is age and grade based, and grade exceptions are allowed and are limited 2. AAU’s former age/grade rules will apply in (TYBL) play.

Two certified referees will call all games.

There will be zero tolerance for fighting AND/OR Player and coach misconduct which could result in suspensions and expulsion from the league! Determination of culpability and punishment will be made on a case-by-cases basis.

The (TYBL) dress code will include a coaching shirt, slacks or shorts, nice sweat suits or neat shorts. No jeans or open toes shoes will be allowed. Each coach will be assessed a technical foul before the game if they do not meet the coaches dress code.

Each team will be assessed a technical foul before or during the game for incorrect roster information.

All teams will compete in the (TYBL) Finals in San Antonio, Texas.

All losses count rather they are to full league participants or fill in teams. However, seeding will be based on more than win/loss records. Seeding will based on a combination of a team’s final record, strength of schedule, competitiveness and the “eye test.
